1. About Us and Scope of Services

Lagida d.o.o. provides travel and event-related services, including day tours with or without transfers and guiding services, multi-day tours, travel planning and consulting, event planning and organization, as well as tailor-made services for private and business clients. These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Lagida unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Booking and Contract Formation

A booking becomes binding once it has been confirmed by Lagida in writing, for example via email or booking confirmation. For business clients such as agencies, hotels, or partners, the contractual relationship exists exclusively between Lagida and the respective business partner. End customers of such partners do not have a direct contractual relationship with Lagida.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are communicated through offers, price lists, or written agreements and may vary depending on season, availability, and customization. For bookings under €500, full payment is required to confirm the reservation. For bookings of €500 or more, a deposit of 30 percent is required to confirm the reservation, and the remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the service. If payment deadlines are not met, Lagida reserves the right to cancel the booking.

4. Cancellation by the Customer

Cancellation conditions may vary depending on the service and will be clearly communicated in the offer, price list, or booking confirmation. If no specific conditions are provided, the standard cancellation policy applies. Cancellation up to 14 days before the tour entitles the customer to a full refund, while cancellation less than 14 days before the tour results in no refund. For multi-day tours, cancellation up to 14 days before the first day entitles the customer to a full refund, and after that no refund is provided. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@lagida.com.

5. Changes or Cancellation by Lagida

Lagida strives to operate all services as planned; however, in certain situations such as safety concerns, operational issues, or unforeseen circumstances, adjustments may be necessary. In such cases, Lagida may modify the itinerary or timing, offer an alternative service, or provide a refund where appropriate.

6. Weather Conditions

Some services are dependent on weather conditions. Lagida reserves the right to assess whether conditions are suitable for safe operation. If weather conditions are deemed unsuitable, the service may be rescheduled or a refund will be provided if rescheduling is not possible. This decision is made with safety as the primary consideration.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are expected to arrive on time at agreed meeting points, follow the instructions provided by guides and staff, and ensure that they are physically and mentally able to participate in the booked activity. By confirming a booking, the customer acknowledges that these requirements are fulfilled.

8. Liability

Lagida is committed to delivering high-quality services; however, liability is limited to damages caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct. Lagida is not responsible for services provided by third parties such as transport providers, external guides, or venues. Furthermore, Lagida is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other external factors. Customers are responsible for planning sufficient time buffers, and Lagida cannot accept liability if a connection such as a cruise ship or flight is missed due to delays or timing constraints.

9. Business Clients (B2B)

For agencies, hotels, and other business partners, the partner is responsible for communication and obligations toward their end customers. Any claims or complaints must be handled through the contracting partner, and end customers do not have direct claims against Lagida.

10. Complaints

If a customer is not fully satisfied with a service, Lagida should be informed as soon as possible. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing via email to info@lagida.com without delay and no later than eight days after the service. Lagida will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable Croatian law.

11. Photos and Media

During tours or events, photos and videos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes. If a customer prefers not to appear in such materials, they must inform Lagida in writing before the service by contacting info@lagida.com. Otherwise, it is assumed that the customer agrees to the use of such materials in a respectful and appropriate manner.

12. Website Use

All content on www.lagida.com is provided for general informational purposes. While Lagida aims to keep information accurate and up to date, completeness and uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. All content is protected by intellectual property rights.

13. Force Majeure

Lagida is not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural events, weather conditions, government measures, strikes, or transport disruptions.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court in Croatia.

15. Final Provisions

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
